Well, here's the school. The whole town has been getting ready for this program. A school program may not seem like much to other folks, but we're very proud of our children. We like to encourage them to do the best they can. Let's just move on down the hallway and peek into one of the classrooms.

There's Miss Nancy. I think she's the children's favorite teacher. Ned Holly is kind of sweet on her. I wonder if they'll end up getting married? She must be giving the children last-minute instructions about the program. Let's move on down the hall now.

Oops, guess we barged in at the wrong time. That was Mrs. Morrow. She must be giving last-minute instructions too. Those children may have been up to some mischief, though. She usually deals with that kind of thing. She's not really mean to the children. When she gets angry, though, they sure pay attention to her! Oh, look what we have here, hanging up in the hall.

These are Christmas drawings the children have done. Aren't they wonderful? Here's the auditorium now. We must be running a little late. I can hear the music.

Children are all so joyful. I just love children. Their hearts are so open and free and accepting. They believe in magic with very little trouble at all. Adults, now, they're a different story. I guess that's why I love Christmas so much. At Christmas time, even adults believe in magic --- at least a little tiny bit, if nothing else.

Well, I guess we're finished here at the school. We'll go back out so we can go on to visit the big old Victorian house next door.
