Kennel Improvements
As we've gone along over the last several years, we've added to and improved our kennel setup a bit at a time. One of our big projects was rocking in the kennels. This was a group effort. We had 16 tons of pea gravel delivered and made what Isaiah thought was a huge sandbox.
The pad was created with railroad ties and pea gravel. After the pad was created, the kennel pens and dog houses were moved onto the pad. This provides good drainage and is very easy to keep clean.
Since our move last year, we have built all new kennels in the same manner with the railroad ties and pea gravel beds.
We have been working hard on our new kennel office & whelping area.. It's not done yet, but it is coming right along.
