Pomeranian Colors, Cream & White

Lots of cream colored puppies look white when they are born.  However, after a few days or a few weeks, they will show a faint apricot tinge around the ears, etc.

Above center is Sugar as a puppy.  Below, Sugar all grown up with one of her own puppies:

White Pomeranians always have black points (eye rims, nose, foot pads).  Cream Pomeranians may have black points but sometimes they have brown or chocolate points or even pinkish brown points.  Here is Sugar (cream) on the left and Dream on the right.  Dream is almost a true white, but not quite as he has just a bit of apricot tinge on his ears and a bit on his chest.  He is very close, though.  He also has very black points.

Cream colored puppies are quite popular.  Once they get a bit older, it's easier to tell if they are cream or white.  Here are some of ours from past litters.  We always seem to have a waiting list for this color.

These 2 females on the left are out of the litter on the right.  On the left, they are 7 weeks old, on the right 4 weeks old.
