Since we've been on our homestead, we have had several livestock projects.  Some have definitely been fun, others definitely exasperating and frustrating.  Regardless of rewarding, fun, or frustrating, it's all been a worthwhile learning experience.

When we moved out homestead in 2006, we got rid of some of our livestock projects.  We sold geese, turkeys, ducks, & some of our chickens to the neighbors before we left.  We sold some of our goats & moved others with us.  We also have added Dexter cattle since the move.  We'll be updating our livestock pages to add our small Dexter herd and redoing others to show our new and improved quarters for our different breeds of poultry.
