Please don't argue on our board.
If you want to argue, please go somewhere else. This board is about homesteading, self-sufficiency, and preparedness. It is NOT about politics or religion. We don't mind occasional comments about either subject, but we do not wish to have to moderate arguments about either subject, so please respect that others have the right to their own opinions & beliefs, regardless of whether they coincide with yours or not.
No flaming.
No harrassment.
No name-calling.
Please, no racial or ethnic jokes or slurs.
Everyone has a right to their own opinion, even if it varies from yours. You can disagree with someone's opinion, but please try to do so in a respectful & polite manner.
Personal conflicts should be handled privately between the people involved and NOT on the open board. We have a general policy of no backstabbing or jabbing allowed. "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all."
By handling personal conflicts privately, we do not mean send someone a PM that would be out of line with board rules either. If you send someone a PM, be polite and respectful, keeping in mind that PM's can be forwarded to as many members as the recipient sees fit.
Members are more than welcome to RANT
about govt policies, the news, businesses, traffic, laws, finances, workplaces, and most anything else in this whole crazy world we live in. Just don't rant about each other, please. This board is a place where all the members should feel comfortable to converse, ask questions, find answers, share information, state your opinions, read the posts, make comments, etc., and not a place where you have to worry about being picked at, flamed, harrassed, embarrassed, called names, or otherwise made to feel uncomfortable.
We don't care how much or how little you post, as long as you DO post at least occasionally. IF YOU NEVER POST AT ALL after registering OR if you only post advertisements or links to someplace else, you will eventually be removed as a member. This usually happens within 2-7 days after your registration.
The Management will remove posts not deemed suitable for the board. You will be warned. If you ignore warnings, you will be banned from the board.
